Tour description
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Trieste at 9.00 a.m. to start a wonderful day out visiting Slovenia's attractive and cosmopolitan capital. You can discover the splendours of this fascinating city by crossing its numerous bridges and open squares, visiting the cathedral of St. Nicholas, the colorful marketplace and the town hall or taking the funicular up to the medieval castle for splendid views over the town.

Once you have seen all you can see in Ljubljana, shopped for souvenirs and enjoyed a local specialty at one of the many characteristic downtown outdoor cafes, a leisurely drive will take you to the town of Bled, the pearl of the Alpine region, world known for its beautiful lake and mysterious cliff-top castle with a beautiful viewing terrace.

We'll take a walk along the waterfront and stop at one of the many cafés to enjoy the town's specialty, the Original Bled Cream Cake called Kremsnita.
